Even though I am injured, looking at this fixture, you should still be able to win, even without me. I will still come along and watch the match on Monday, possibly needing my walking stick.
A - Jedi
B - Pervert
C - "Lord Of The Rings" wizard
D - "I Know What You Did Last Summer" murderer
E - Cumbrian Hill Farmer (be grateful that you can't see the sheep........)
F - suggestions or captions.......

Stanwix Utd have lost all of their games so far, so let's not be the team that lets them get off the mark!!
Stuart Chandler
So you should Mithrandir! Dark times are ahead for The Corkers. We need the support to fight off the evil Stanwix Ring-Wraiths.
David "BFG" Atkinson
Although I originally said "Looking at the fixture on Monday, you should still be able to win, even without me", Martina Taylor has pointed out that their four defeats should not lead us to be too overconfident:
02 Oct 06 Stanwix United 1 vs 6 Beez Knees
09 Oct 06 Stanwix United 1 vs 2 Cumberland Building Society
16 Oct 06 Stanwix United 1 vs 7 The Legends
23 Oct 06 Stanwix United 2 vs 3 AVE IT !
The two big defeats were against very good teams, and the other games were much closer. Do not let our confidence be our undoing.....
David Jones
Dave man that picture is horrendous and just plain weird!!
Andrew Little
Dave A - would you be offended if I said you might be the most eccentric person I've ever met in my life? That opinion is only really based on what the gardener wears in games, and that bizarre picture of him looking like obi-wan gardener!
Dave Atkinson
I would not be in the slightest offended :-)
I do, in fact, revel in my weirdness!
Mwa-hahahahahahahahahaha.........
Matt Selen
Andrew, I think you're being very diplomatic calling him eccentic.
A few walking wounded and unavailables but certain we'll be back to winning ways by the end of the night.

See? You don't need me at all! Although my "nice 3-0 win, lads" shout didn't confuse the ref :-)
A good game, that we could have won by a few more goals. Two good saves from Tag. Nice crisp passing all night, although there were a couple of times (including throw-ins) when you allowed yourselves to be rushed. Also, a lot less talking last night. There were fewer instances of players "drifting" up front and leaving us exposed at the back, though.
As we discussed in the pub last night - if you can't see the 'keeper, then the 'keeper can't see you, and if you have to shove a team mate out of the way to make the shot, do it!
Andrew Little
Just like to say well done to all after we got to winnings ways. I would also like to add that I didn't stop shouting last night, perhaps in wasn't heard on the touchline due to the swirling wind, I don't know. It was a gutsy performance which we're going to need more of if we are to finish in the top 3 this season. Bring on the Cumberland!
Onwards and upwards!
Dave Atkinson
Aye, and it was said in the pub that everyone was shouting. Could you all hear my booming voice?
Andrew Little
Yes, i could hear it at times but again alot of it was probably lost in the wind. Good encouragement and advice from the touchline is as good as an extra man so well done all including the watching wounded.
Lee Ormerod
hit them just inside the post - i like it - if only we'd known to do that before we would be scoring from every shot...................!
Stuart Chandler
Just goes to show we can't take any matches for granted. Anyone can beat anyone in this league. (Apart from Stanwix United maybe!)
I just hope the Saint & Co. Athletic game doesn't come back to haunt us. We can hold our hands up and say Real Law were better than us on the night, but we threw the Saint game away. We should have had something from it.
Anyway. Roll on next week. The Cumberland Building Society don't look like they score loads of goals. They've got that massive lad up front who takes around 45 seconds to turn. He's strong though. So if we keep it tight we'll have a good chance. They're definitely beatable.
