I forgot to mention, I was talking to AVE IT! lad, and he reckons they are best side in league and should walk it this season. He was saying how they lost lots of games they shouldn't last season - and we were lucky to get a draw against them. In the words of Jonesy, he was "boiling my piss"!

Complete bunch of knobs! Best side in the league? They'll be saying they're the best looking as well next, living in cloud cuckoo land! I'd give them 8/10 for effort but attainment is sadly (for them) lacking greatly. What's this crack about a draw?! We beat them (1-0) did we not?!?!?!

Fantastic lads a well deserved 3 points. The next game is now the biggest game of the season. Another tough game but play like we did last night and we could be sitting on 15 points this time next week with promotion back on the cards

A great performance last night, you did everything right including protecting Stu (who is now good enough to permanently replace me?) by defending in depth. By frustrating them and keeping discipline, the ref sided with us rather than them. Tiredness (no subs) naturally took its toll, but you hung in there and you should have seen some of their faces as they stomped off.

aye one lad just stormed without shaking anyone's hand (n0b) and the new ones who we don't know never put any effort into the hand shake at all (limp wristed ball bags).
the ones who knew us though were fine. one of em even said best game of the season!

We all worked our socks off last night to get the result we wanted. Well done to everyone. Another good goal from Dave J at the end of one of the best moves of the game.
I don't know about me replacing you Dave A. I've played twice in nets and had two ok games. I was in quite a bit of pain last night though.
Promotion is definitely still possible anyway. Bring on Beez Knees!

Yep must admit I noticed the limp handshake. Felt like telling one lad I didn't particularly want to personally shake his hand but was just doing out of good gesture so don't get flattered, the soft wristed nancy boy! Yea the keeper came over for the crack as he usually does (give me a good chance to be smug, "told you we would win" sort of thing), and his mate who I normally see out and about was spot on aswell.
