The return of the notorious BFG......
.....tonight!
I played on Friday night for one hour, with no real pain, just some stiffness. I only let in ten goals, as well, despite protecting the leg as much as possible.
Martina also played, so she might be available tonight? And one of Martin's shots was so hard it ripped a pair of the gardening gloves!!
Martin Taylor
Yes, I played on Friday and only scored 6 times against Alan Titchmarsh, but as I have had pain in my knee most of yesterday I going to give it a miss.
Stuart Chandler
Little BFG is glad to see the original BFG back anyway. I've let 12 goals in over four games, which could have been worse I suppose. The clean sheet against 'Ave It was a highlight for me though.
I apologise wholeheartedly again for the fourth goal last week. You don't know how bad I felt after that.
Anyway. 3pts up for grabs tonight. Let's end the season with back to back wins and 18pts!
Dave Atkinson
The Little BFG played very well, and certainly shouldn't feel bad about the goals he let in. A bit more coaching from BFG will help little BFG stand in on any other occasion he is required to. I'll take the blame for this season, if you all wish it so.

Need a goal this season, sick of just being in the build up!

Little chance of me scoring this season..... unless we're 10 goals up in the last game, and I come outfield and goal hang outside their penalty arc!..... and if we get two goals ahead, are we implementing Fortress-Break, whereby we have four back and fastest man at halfway?

The return of the notorious BFG......
.... certainly wasn't spectacularly good! Slower reaction time and just no strength to dive off my legs, and it didn't help when that blaggard ran into the area to kick my shin and knee, rather than jumping over me. My knee is fine this morning though, so no biggee. On the whole, a nice controlled performance by the outfield last night, and none of my occasional wayward distribution. There was a short period when we went into "headless chicken" mode, but a few shouts of "calm it down" had the desired effect. Keeping possession, rather than constantly trying the "killer pass" is the way, as we all know.
OK..... Beez Knees lose, and we win and AVE IT! lose (with a big goal difference swing) and we go up!
Andrew Little
Good all round performance, good three points. Although we let three in again it wasn't because we were caught short at the back but more because we didn't close the opposition down quicker enough. Some well taken goals, don't think I'll make top scorer this season now even though I did increase my tally. Well done lee for getting off the mark and well done to whoever was involved in the build up to that goal probably the best of the night. Also nice to see Dave back in the sticks, you couldn't really do too much about the goals so don't worry about them dave. So well done every one, we replicate that next season on a regular basis and we should be there and there abouts.
Dave Jones
Yep well done to all last night, as Dave mentioned there were a few minutes where we lost the plot, concede goals in quick succession, but we regrouped tightened up, started closing them down from the front and made them panic. Communication was good last night, Dave A last night I could not only hear you making a noise but actually understand what you were shouting and saying even from up the other end of the pitch (!) Andy you were vocal all night, I think you give us a verbal kick up the backside on more than one occasion when it were needed as some heads started to drop for a moment. All good goals, Lee's was the best, good build up too although can't remember the details. Big Stu had a blinder in my opinion despite missing a couple of chances more down to poor luck than anything, and awesome ball from Stu C for my goal last night, thankyou very much!

Dave, we love you too, man........ *hug*
