Looks like we'll be Stu-less on both fronts tonight. Big one still injured and Little one has man-flu. Would like to say, after what's gone on in the last couple of weeks, lets put all that behind us and lets get out there tonight and have some FUN ! Company is picking up the tab and its not costing us anything so lets get out there, play for each-other, enjoy ourselves and play hard and play a bit of football.!! Need to start scoring a few goals tonight. Good luck up front. Lets have a good high tempo from the start.

I was speaking to the keeper of Stanwix yesterday and he said they were winning WS Taxis' until they took their best defender off and they just got over run by then and eventually lost 4-3. So lets not go gun-ho again and expect to give them a thumping, lets play over the 25 minutes and solid all the way through.

Post-Match

A solid result against a team that could have upset us. They had a couple of good chances, but were lacking in the skills to take us apart and we soaked up the attacks they did make. It was good to see us ignore the decisions which went against us, and resist rising to any abuse and/or foul play. They are the first team not to come and shake my hand after a game, although one player did congratulate me immediately after the one good save I had to make. They only had four shots on target, if I recall correctly.
