The Cold War World Order's Existence has ceased, But will there be peace? We had a coup Against democratisation Which only hastened the action. And a war for oil To free world supplies, But how many died? The corporate terrorists Stealing and polluting. Who needs shooting? A country's regions, Fighting each other, Did anyone really bother? Is there relief at seeing the eastern nations Holding free elections? The tide of racism Crashing inwards On all our shores. Whilst a major bastion Changes it's laws In equality's cause. The summit towards A Federal goal Leaves Britain alone. But one by one The men of courage Were released to go home. As we walk backwards We see the past But not our future So, can it last?
