1. David Atkinson 2. Christian Van Tilburg 3. David Keith 4. James Dunlop 5. Richie McGregor 6. Andrew Pescod
The moment the pitch is free, we will go on and have the defenders against "the rest" knockabout for two minutes, to get the blood pumping and to get "in the zone".

I have to apologize for my performance tonight , it may have be expected by some of you but not myself. I know I could have done better and I should have I just couldn't get into the game. In my defense ( yes I have one) as discussed with CVT I may have been better in defense as Midfield is an unknown position for me and one I felt lost with. Near the end I did end up in a more defensive position which I did feel happy with and felt more in control of what was going on.
If by some suicidal miracle you pick me again to play please bear this in mind. It may also be an idea for the 11 as side, Left or right back positions would be my preferred areas.
Once again sorry ( I am happy to take the blame for the defeat on this one).
Christian Van Tilburg
quite the opposite to acquitted yourself well and you have nothing to apologise for, seriously.
i am proud of everyone tonight.
here are my very long thoughts on the match...
it was a game of two halves, first 4-1, second 1-0... everyone dug deep and we battled like heroes
break down of players
AP : first game against a team that drop lasted season, no subs available and a full 25 minutes of punishment. Wow, that is hard! i think, in fairness and quoting DK "AP up his game by 200%" Well done
DA : solid and kept us from losing 25-1. Thank you for listening when i said under my breath, "take your time gathering the ball", it gave us a few seconds to move and think.
DK : good runs in defense, he and i linked up well
JD : a goal, what else can you ask for? good running and taking on tough tackles
RM : i watched RM with the ball, some very slick passes to JD and good control. pleasure playing with you
CVT : best for last, kidding!! but, next time, i will score from the halfway line, as my shot narrowly missing the top left corner then RM owes me a manly kiss
generally, it was very good... i am happier with this result than the 1-1 against Armstrong Watson...
a big manly 'come on', again

With an unforseen glut of injuries, holidays and work/family commitments, we were forced to field a team of only six players - no substitutes! I also had to step in as captain/tactician, as both incumbents of this position were amongst the injuries.
We went into this game positively and all I asked for was Blood, Sweat and Tears, and we gave our all - I could ask for nothing more. They pressed us hard and got four in the first half to our one, but the second half was much tighter as, despite our lack of subs, we largely contained them and denied their goal chances. All their goals were good ones, as was our goal - a cracker from James across the 'keeper into the corner. Andrew Pescod survived a baptism of fire well, and did all we asked of him in trying to block their central runs. OK, we lost, but under the circumstances we did well as they were peppering our goal with shots and passing the ball well.
C'est la Vie - bring on the Corkers!!
