Although this will be seen as a "must win" match, we mustn't be downhearted if we do finish bottom. This was a "bonus season" for us, as we didn't expect to get in so quickly. We have used our full squad over the course of the season, and also tried out various tactics and formations. This was the right way to use our first season, to blood those players in who didn't have experience of this type of competitive soccer, and also to become a true team.
Although we've only won one game to date, we were very close in many others. One goal more in every game and we'd have been at the top, pushing for promotion.
That must be our aim next season./P>

The score line may not suggest so (6-1) but we did play quite well last week! Therefore we have decided to go for the same formation.
REMEMBER - IF WE DRAW OR LOSE TONIGHT WE WILL FINISH BOTTOM OF THE LEAGUE........SO WE MUST WIN

winner's always want the ball!, nil-nil and their keeper was all that stopped us. we wanted it more than they did. we played as a team. I even found self running forward looking for the one-two.

Well, we finished the season with a strange 0-0 match. This was the
first time I can ever recall not having to make a single save!! I
did have to collect one ball bouncing towards goal, which was chested
back to me by a defender, but that was it.
At the other end, we had many shots, with at least 3 requiring their 'keeper to do some excellent work. Unfortunately we did fail to score for the first time this season!
We finished the season last in the league, but considering our squad
rotation, trialling of tactics and "learning curve" for most of the
players, we're not surprised or too fussed. Roll on next season!
