This is a one off and final reply to both posters mentioned above and should be read only after reading the earlier thread "wheres Mileson".
I have already said publicly that I hold BM in the highest regard but that does not automatically mean we are joined at the hip. I have since january said I was determined to buy CUFC and I have never wavered on this .However when administration came about BM contacted me and we agreed a strategic alliance to buy the club from the administrator. It quickly became apparent this was not possible as it was a joint admin therefore MK still had the power to sell the shares i.e. the control of the club. I became aware of a situation whereby the league were highly unlikely to allow the club to continue in the league if the CVA failed and I acted quickly and in the way I saw best to prevent this and I am confident the administrator would confirm these facts if he so wished as most people in the know ,knew the CVA was not going to pass without a new owner.These are the facts and I would now like to deal with CARUNTDS posting.
He accuses me of being another MK and funnily enough so did CUMBRIAN GENT. Well I am aware that some of what I said are my ambitions for the club are similar to what MK said at the start but then so it would be for any new club owner and some make it happen and some dont but I will do my best and I cant do more than that but I will also take this club back to the people of Carlisle where it belongs and I have already started that as most of you know but Rome wasnt built in a day so give me a chance and then judge me.Caruntd is one (or the same) of two people in the not too distant past(yarey being the other) who took MKs side on this MB and said I was a no hoper and would never get the club and that I could not afford it anyway. Need I say more. Then you accuse me of deceitful double crossing. Dont you think that is a giant leap from someone who doesnt know the facts and was not party to my arrangment with BM and whilst I have no problem with a bit of scepticism or criticism I expect the accuser to at least have the facts. I am well aware of my human failings and I have no problem being open. In my position some things must remain under wraps if only to protect the club or people concerned with the particular matter.
Now in relation to CUMBRIAN GENTS comments I find some of them most ungentle manly. In his original posting he said I need help to run the club financialy as I could not survive on my own. Well we will see about that as I believe in time he will be proved wrong but if he is so aware of my lack of funds could he notify the Irish tax authorities as they keep on billing me for huge amounts.Then he says MK panniced me into giving him £750k which would be better spent on players etc.. Now I have a few issues there.(A) anyone who knows me would think panic is hardly my style.(actually I am conceited enough to think winning is more my style). (B)How does he know the amount he states is correct, as in the way of these things, this is confidential. (C)Better spent on players where? In the conference if they accepted us after our demise!
He then talks of rumours of double crossing and being no better than MK. Would he like to tell us who he heard these rumours (PLURAL) from or was he just talking in his sleep? Next he calls the forum 'the two ronnies show' just a bit cynical I'm inclined to think. If he wants to call two people trying to answer the fears of a group of people with honesty and a little humour.You know I've always said this should be about enjoyment and entertainment not punishment which I seem to be getting here before I have even had the chance to do much. Finally he says coward springs to mind regarding me well come up to me and say it and stop hiding behind your board name and see how cowardly I really am.
I made this reply for the people who care about the club as I dont want to have them worried any longer but this is the last time I will refer to these posters as I have better things to do with my time.
