Carlisle United chairman Michael Knighton is poised to ring the changes after his side lost to bottom-of-the-table Hull.
He said he would be spending the weekend considering the whole set-up at the club, from players to the coaching organisation.
The Blues chief promised to bring in new blood to the side.
"Some players out there need to ask themselves where is the hole they have been hiding in. There are certain players out there who are not working hard enough. I expect people to die for this football club because I'm dying for it."
"You have to say, do you make serious changes to see if that is the answer?" Knighton said.
VICTORY
The victory, through an 89th minute Craig Dudley goal, was a rejuvenated Hulls first at home since September 8.
Knighton added: "This game is all about change. Sometimes it works, sometimes it's a total disaster but that is all people want to see"
"Clearly we need to do something positive about it. Either we go out and bring in another four or five players or take the consequences for the level of player brought in. For whatever reason, it has not worked. Somebody has got to take responsibility and it is always the management that takes responsibility"
Carlisle created few chances against a struggling Hull side, who are still bottom despite this win. United slipped to 21st in Division Three, although they do have up to three games in hand on most teams.
"We had no punch upfront and we never really threatened apart from those couple of long range efforts and David Brightwell was unlucky.
"I don't think this is the strongest squad we have had. Some of the players have got to look at themselves effort wise. I will stick by the expression that you hare to want to die for the cause and there are one or two not dying for the cause, so we will be making changes and we will be bringing more players in.
"This team is capable of finishing in the right sort of position at the top of the table but not playing like that."
DOMINATED
Knighton said Carlisle dominated the early stages but faded badly after the break.
"This weekend will be an extremely reflective one. Do you throw the towel in and walk away? Do you simply care in to the critics and say they have got it a11 their own way?
"The easiest option in the world is just to walk away. David resigns, John resigns, I resign and you get someone in to do a caretaker job until you make a proper appointment "
