Oh that hallowed turf! Maybe we should have brought some home like the Scots? After all, some people think Carlisle is in Scotland. Alas, the Shield was not to be for us that year, for on the day Birmingham City proved to be the better team. However, even the most ardent of Birmingham City fans have to admit that Carlisle gave Birmingham a run for their (big) money.
