Well, what can I say? Another depressing month of results has climaxed with the defeat at the hands of Ilkeston Town. I have to say that I thought we were going to lose this one, and so it was to be. How can we have come so far only to sink back down again? There need to be changes and, as I said on my teletext page (ITV P478) on 21 October 1999:
Are the club missing the point? We are struggling and there are players who don't seem to be trying. We need more players who give a damn about the club's future. We need to find, attract and keep good, local, players! Darren Edmondson came to support us after he was transferred. How many of the current squad would do that?
