Still no sign of the frequently (and loudly) heralded takeover. Patience amongst fans is wearing thin and many are now coming to believe that all takeover negotiations are simply a stalling ploy by Mr Knighton Snr until he and his wife have served their DTI directorship bans. Their reasons for thinking this are the continued aborted deals and the fact that financial records are continually held back from potential owners.
The latest rumour to surface is that Vinny Jones will be involved in the Collins' Clan bid. We'll see.
I continue to be very busy at the moment and so my website is suffering. Particularly, the squad and IML match report archive sections are hopelessly out of date. I will hopefully get the sections brought up to date soon.
And finally, a special mention for my barber, George Johnstone of Sybil Street, Carlisle. He has retired after 59 years at the age of 73. George is a devout CUFC fan.
