Rain, snow, ice, frost, rain..... Need I go on? February was a month best forgotten. Oh, hang on. We won lots of games and got a new owner!! Hmm, on second thoughts, it was a month to remember :-)
The long drawn out take over continues. There was due to have been a press conference by now with Michael Knighton signing the club over to John Courtenay. However, as all CUFC fans have grown accustomed to, last minute hitches have again delayed (or scuppered?) the conclusion of the deal. Many rumours are circulating as to the cause, but they are just that - rumours. Hopefully you are reading this in the knowledge that the deal is concluded. But I doubt it :-(
As we go into the penultimate month of the season, however, we are in a better position than we have been for years. With any luck, we'll be safe before the end of March. What a luxury that would be....
OK, I admit defeat! I have decided to write off this season, as far as my website goes. Consequently I'll be spending the summer revamping. Again.
