After the much publicised take over headlines, we have rumbled on into April with the Knightons still at the controls. However, all leaked information and casual comments from those involved appear to indicate that it is only a matter of time until the take over is complete. However, I fear that things are going to get much worse before they get better... if they get better at all :-(
For the first time in a few years we went into the last month with League safety guaranteed. OK, we only secured Division Three status on 29 March, but it still counts :-) And then The Pestilence struck. In a bizarre twist, the club sacked Roddy Collins after he spoke out about his frustrations over the delays John Courtenay's planned purchase of Carlisle United.
In March we had the ludicrous situation of a fan being banned until the end of the season because he persistently stood up in the East Stand. Read the background to this story in The East Stand One.
Finally, CCUIST are planning a Knighton Out Day on Saturday 27th April. Fans are urged to display Knighton Out! banners in as many places (home, work, cars, etc) as possible.
