A ground out win against Ian Atkins' Oxford brought many a smile, but more bookings and a sending off. We are still languishing near the bottom of both the Division and Fair Play League tables. The two are, perhaps, connected I have been confident post-takeover in JC/RC, in that we will be safe at the season end, however I remain concerned over the poor discipline record.
JC was in the commentary box at Kiddy to give his own colourful perspective on 3 more points :-)
Without wishing to curse it, a nice run of late will hopefully continue and see us in a comfortable position at New Year for once (in recent years). The new ownership are getting things right and the early doom mongers are coming around now. Attendances are still low, though, and as JC rightly states, these need to increase for the club to continue to go forward. I know we've had bad times, but help the good times roll if you can
Well, I cursed it. A good performance from CUFC and Bury, with a superb free kick goal from each. However, Bury won with a second goal. Ah well, there is still much to be taken from the CUFC display. Those not going to Brunton Park are missing out in many ways. If you are a CUFC fan, get down to BP. Knighton has gone. You no longer have any excuses other than poverty! And if your excuse is poverty, then you know what to ask for this Xmas!.
