Travelled up from London to watch us get thrashed by an average non-league team.... All you can say about Carlisle is that we were bloody awful... I am so angry that I wasted my day to see such an inept footballing performance from a professional football team. It pissed it down all afternoon.. that atmosphere was extremely quiet.... and their ground was dreadful... we had a flat piece of tarmac on one side of the ground..... Wilko and Cooper must hold up their hands and take all the blame for this one... The team just had no heart, spirit or desire... Ilkeston wanted to win this one.. they fought for evrything... I never thought I would see the day that Carlisle would be outplayed and out fought by such a mickey mouse club.... Their number 10 up front - Christian Moore, had a great game and would walk into our team.. the fat git had the cheek to taunt the Carlisle fans with his fists as he scored the equaliser... Harries took his goal well to give us an unexpected lead... but really you have to say that we had no idea upfront and rarely troubled them... I was at the Macclesfield 4-2 defeat some ten or so years ago... and that day we lost after being 2-0 up... this definitely matches this one for sheer ineptness.. I feel very down tonight and it was a quiet car journey back to the south for us London Branchers.. most of us probably wont be going back to see Carlisle in a long time.... We really have dropped to the lowest of the low now.... sad to say it, but most of the Conference teams out there, and some from the Premier non-league divisions are a hell of a lot better than us.... Knighton out!! Wilko out and get someone in who give the lads some passion and heart... none of them (save for Brightwell and perhaps prokas) seem to bloody care... Embarrassed... or what!
